Note: CME first seen to the SE in SOHO LASCO C2 starting at 2024-12-25T21:12Z. The actual start time will be a bit earlier; the CME is first visible in white light imagery after a short gap in SOHO LASCO data from 2024-12-25T20:36Z to 2024-12-25T21:12Z. CME is also visible to the SE in SOHO LASCO C3. The CME maybe be visible for one or two frames in STEREO A COR2 after a data gap from 2024-12-25T13:38Z to 2024-12-25T21:53Z. The source of this CME is most likely ejecta from beyond the SE limb. The ejected material is best seen in GOES SUVI 304 starting about 2024-12-25T20:48Z. Some field lines opening beyond the SE limb are best seen in GOES SUVI 284 starting abut 2024-12-25T20:07Z.
